My approach

Energetic
Training should keep people engaged and involved. Sessions are fast-paced, varied and designed to maintain momentum and energy. There is a neat balance between theory, exercises and class interaction.

Interactive
People learn best by doing. Training shouldn’t be a lecture, so you’ll be on your feet, working in teams and getting hands-on practical experience. You learn best when you get a chance to do it yourself.

Collaborative
Design is a team sport. As well as learning from me, you will get time to collaborate and interact with other delegates on the course.

Experienced
I won’t be simply regurgitating what the theory book says. While the entire course is grounded in theory, I have 30+ years of experience at the coalface delivering this work across industries, which I bring to the learning.

Practical
The focus is on skills and techniques you can apply straight away. You’ll leave with tools, approaches and ways of thinking you can use immediately in real projects and day-to-day work.

Flexible
You and your team are busy, so I can build the training around you. I can deliver in 1-, 2- or 3-day formats and in a rhythm which suits you (for example days-in-a-row, or half days each week) and in-class or virtually.

What people are saying
Gareth’s AI for Product Owners programme is incredibly practical, and participants consistently told us they left the classroom ready to apply what they'd learned to real business challenges. Based on their feedback, which was amongst some of the best we have seen, I would recommend Gareth without reservation to any organisation looking to build genuine AI capability in their product and design teams.

I have worked with Gareth for over two decades through industry bodies, agencies and latterly in Mastercard. In all of my dealings with him, including his recent speaking engagements as part of Mastercard Learning Labs, he has been a thought leader, bringing the latest thinking on strategy, innovation, human-centred design and digital technology in an engaging, relatable and often humorous way.
